Ms. Lay has over 40 years’ experience in the field of architectural office administration. She manages the office and provides the recordkeeping necessary for the architectural staff to design, produce and construct projects within their budgets. She has served as officer and National Convention Local Coordinator for the Atlanta Chapter of the Society of Design Administrators. Ms. Lay brings a wealth of experience in administering the record- keeping and paper management skills needed to manage the requirements for LEED project certification and worked closely with the Southface Energy Institute while the USGBC was developing the Pilot Residential LEED program. She is also a nationally-certified fitness leader and personal trainer and serves as Chairman of the Board of Bodies-in-Motion, Inc., a Georgia Corporation providing fitness instructors for nonprofits. Clients served under her leadership include Center for the Visually Impaired, YWCAs of Metro Atlanta, Fulton County Human Services Department Office of Aging, and the Piedmont Park Conservancy.
