The RainShine House living room coffee table and console were designed by Robert M. Cain, Architect and built by Pinnacle Builders as house warming gifts upon the completion of the home.  Consistent with the many green features of the house, the table tops are built from salvaged old growth long leaf pine. The material came from beams salvaged during the demolition of the pre-civil war constructed Atlanta Police stables.  Growth ring counts of the beams indicated trees dating back to the 1500's representing the entire recorded history of the southeast.  The pine is protected with a zero VOC clear water based finish.  The steel frames were fabricated of steel tube purchased from local mills utilizing 100% recycled materials.  The frames were finished with low VOC paint.

By utilizing locally sourced, reclaimed, recycled or other green materials, constructing on site or in nearby shops, built-ins can assist in achieving sustainability goals.   The RainShine house's new built-ins are all constructed with 100% recycled content zero VOC mdf utilizing zero VOC stains and finishes and/or salvaged old growth long leaf pine with zero VOC clear finishes.  The built-in master bed is custom designed and constructed of same old-growth reclaimed heart pine throughout the house.

The RainShine Furniture is designed specifically for the RainShine House.
