Modular Tea House

 

The Modular Tea House is a prefabricated-component guest house designed to sit in close proximity to an existing home, gardens and outbuildings on several hundred acres of southern coastal plain. Tea House components will be shop fabricated, delivered on a flat bed truck and can be erected and finished in less than a month.  The Tea House, with correct solar exposure, faces southern views and is designed to open fully for unobstructed enjoyment of views and breezes during good weather.

 

A steel tube frame provides the basic structure. Floor, wall, roof and plumbing-wall modules insert into the structural framework. Living/kitchen and utility modules can be linked to expand the concept into a complete house.
