The existing mill structures immediately along the Soque River will be converted into lofts, studios and retail spaces of various sizes, many with sweeping views of the river and shoals. The Office, Post Office and Firehouse of the mill will be renovated as retail, café, general store and other amenity spaces. The Post Office and its unique zip code will be retained. A small museum will host mill artifacts and display the heritage of the site. The area around the Office and Post Office will become the Town Square with new structures, townhomes and landscaping reinforcing its character. New cottages and single-family homes complete the plan for the remainder of the property. The mill baseball field and stands will be restored and be available to local youth teams and open-air events.
